“This was a brilliant activity, we were fortunate with the weather, which stayed bright and not cloudy. We were picked up at our hotel by Marcelo who was probably the best taxi driver we’ve ever had. He drove very safely, was chatty and informative and made the trip so much nicer. We arrived in the village and were transported to our boat on a Polystyrene raft. We had the boat to ourselves which chugged out to the bat island. It was romantic and surreal. The bats came out in their 1000’s and were huge. We then chugged back. All in all it was one of the highlights of our trip.…”
